340B Peer to Peer Webinar: Integrity and Compliance through Engagement with your State Medicaid Office

The next upcoming Peer–to–Peer webinar will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. (ET). The 340B Drug Discount Program and State Medicaid Programs are closely connected though both reimbursement and compliance requirements. As safety–net providers, Medicaid can be an important payer. In addition, statute prohibits manufacturers from paying a duplicate discount, which occurs when a Medicaid rebate is provided on a 340B discounted drug. Covered entities are encouraged to work with their State Medicaid Offices to ensure compliance and promote program integrity. The purpose of this webinar is to provide participants with strategies to effectively engage with their State Medicaid Office regarding 340B. Peer mentors from HRSA recognized 340B sites will share their experiences from the covered entity perspective. In addition, a former Medicaid Commissioner from Connecticut will share his experiences working with 340B covered entities from a State’s perspective.
